He's the project I referenced above. I run a remote solenoid/contactor in my Warn Zeon, and relocating it leaves the top of the winch looking a bit unfinished, and exposes more of the line to UV: A cap would help keep the sun off the top of the rope, and also clean up the look just a bit. It's actually a fairly challenging project as there are several complex angles on this thing, and a good way to improve my Fusion 360 skills. Here's the design... ...and the print with PLA. My intent is to source some Black ASA or ASA-CF for the final print: I've tried printing this thing in several different orientations, and with different support approaches. This was printed flat, bottom down, with grid supports. Any suggestions on how I can improve the striations on the top?
