I really want to make use of the space in the console since removing the sub, and I can't find a non-sub console bin to modify. I'd like to remix this design into something that has a concealed spot underneath a top bin. Kind of like a false bottom. The approximate dimensions of the space under the console are 8"w x 12"l x 14"d. Have to account for the parking brake in there somewhere. Designing a big empty box is pretty easy... I'd have to print it in sections, though. The hard part is figuring out a way to have a bin that pulls out and reveals a hidden space below. I might play around with adding dovetails to the lower section of the bin so that it can slide up and out. Anyone got any ideas, or can point me to some inspired design?
