I've been getting a lot of transmission work done, and installing various six-speed related upgrades: B&M sport shifter, replacing the absolutely obliterated floor pan cover, replacing the leather bag, and ultimately the shifter bezel I ordered in February that got 3D printed in Poland (laser sintered, not FDM) and is somewhere in Texas now, last time I checked (but that's another story). Having removed the six-speed shift knob center cap once, I knew I absolutely didn't want to keep doing that as work was going on, but having the hole there annoyed me. I quickly modeled a little plug for it and printed it in PLA+ about two months ago. Yesterday, I went ahead and printed it in TPU, since I recently purchased my first roll of it. Hopefully it's only got to last me another week or so, because that shift bezel from Poland is the final missing piece, then I can reinstall the original cap. I posted another thread about also printing some quick gaskets after having removed my rear seat brackets, until chili_pepper alerted me to this thread. Finally, people with the same two hobbies that I have!
