Behold! Water dispensing - power distribution center! I printed this up and used magnets to hold it place. plus 3 magnets on the bottom of the dispenser that keep it in place but allow for rotation. The “ledge or “lip” fits under the body “lip” at the rear of the tub. I was hoping this would be adequate but….it wasn’t. I used the dxf to create a pattern for silver vinyl sheet and cut it on my silhouette cutter. The carpet in this area just isn’t flat enough to allow a firm mount so I had to add a metal tab that slips under the bolt for rollbar. I tested it with about a quart of water in the rotopax and it worked perfect. The following weekend we made a run up slick rock trail (off hiway 4 California) with a full 2 gallons of water in the rotopax. Excited to show off my contraption – I shout “gather ‘round boys and marvel the LJ electric water dispensing system! I swivel the spout to exterior mode and turn it on – presto my cup is filled with water – turn off the pump and…. drip drip drip (actually a slow stream) WTF? – obviously the crew had a laugh and walked away with heads shaking – Another Rjmasondesign failure. The problem is obvious to anyone that’s a physics major or an apprentice plumber – sht runs down hill! Because the water level was higher than the pump I actually made a siphon. I capped off the spigot with vacuum line cap and carried on. Once I got home I ordered some antisiphon inline fittings from a water treatment store and installed 1 at the highest point – works fine now. The power outlets work fine -power is sourced from the lipo house battery -I have 1 12v outlet and 1 usb/usb-c outlet now at the rear of the jeep.
